Carolyn Burris Obituary
Carolyn Jane Deal Burris, 80, of Concord, passed away, Monday December 22, 2025 at Atrium Cabarrus.
Graveside service will be 2:00pm Friday, at Herrin’s Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Bob Lovett.
Mrs. Burris was born December 29, 1944, daughter of the late Hubert T. Deal and Laura Jane Meeks Deal. She enjoyed cooking and working with her plants and flowers. Enjoyed reading and spending time with her daughter in law Emily. She loved to write her dear friend Joyce in West Jefferson, NC and her dear friend Lori Honeycutt. She loved her family very much. She retired from the Cabarrus Memorial Hospital where she worked on the heart floor. She was preceded in death by a son Audy Burris.
She is survived by her husband Earl Allen Burris; son Ray Chisholm and wife Emily; daughter, Penny Untz; grandchildren, Brook and Tyler.
