Hey Auntie, We're still missing you deeply. I know you're in a better place but we still miss everything about you. My mom talks about you all the time and we still laugh at the old conversations. Keep watch over us! We love you. Tay

I was sad to learn of Carolyn's passing. I got a chance to meet her when I worked at the Houston District and later when she worked on a project for the Waco District. She was such a joy to be around, always smiling and laughing. My sincere condolences and prayers go out to her family and friends.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Carolyn's passing today. It was such a joy to work beside her for 7 years or so at TxDOT. She was always so positive in everything that she did and was always smiling no matter what. I can remember the day I met her and the last day that we spoke. Carolyn was one special person that's for sure. We always had so much fun working together, a lot of "good memories". Rest in Peace Carolyn. We love you and we will miss you!!

My sincere condolences to all her friends, family and co-workers. CT!! See you later. Until we meet again.

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to the Carter and Toliver family. I worked with Carolyn at TxDot and her smile would like up a room. She has received her heavenly wings and because of that I rejoice.

Auntie words cannot express how much I love you! You will be missed dearly. I know you're smiling and wishing all of us well which gives my heart joy. As I sit and think about you I wonder who will make your famous potato salad. Your smile and kind spirit will always be remembered. Love, Tay and the Crew

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Carolyn. She was a bright presence in the Houston TxDOT family. Even during her most difficult days I was encouraged by her very positive demeanor. She will definitely be missed. May the Lord Bless her and Keep her.

What I am really going to miss the most is her encouraging words. There was never a time when I saw her she did not have something positive to say. TxDOT has truly lost a jewel. Until we meet again....
