Carolyn Ann Hogan Clark, age 78, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Atrium Health Stanly Manor, Albemarle, NC.

Carolyn was born in Montgomery County, NC to the late Henry Hogan and Lola Ann Yarbrough Hogan. She was a graduate of West Montgomery High School. She previously worked at Aero in Asheboro, NC as a tester of Medical Supplies. She was a devoted Tar Heel fan with an adventurous spirit. She loved to fish and was known for her sense of humor. Her personality was infectious, and she was loved by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Arnold Clark of the home; her daughter: Kristy Roland, of Albemarle, her son: Jamie Almond, of Asheboro; granddaughters: Kaylan File (Cole), and Karmin Roland; grandsons: Aidan Almond and Colt Almond; great grandson: Branson Surratt; and twin brother Harold Hogan (Mary Ann) of Candor. Along with her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her granddaughter Kristen Roland, son-in-law, Jeff Roland, and siblings, William Hogan, Doris Richardson, Sarah Scarbrough, and Ralph Hogan.

A family visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Salem Methodist Church Cemetery, 20987 NC 73, Albemarle, NC with Rev. Kim Stamey officiating.
