Christopher Lee Adams, age 60 of Troy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the First Health Hospice House.
Chris was born on November 8, 1965 in Springfield, Ohio. Chris was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving during Desert Storm. He worked for Southern Correctional Institution for the past 30 years. He was a mentor to many officers through the years. Chris had a very generous and giving heart and was a member of the Ellerbee fire department. When he wasn’t working, Chris enjoyed video gaming, and collecting baseball cards, football cards, and coins. Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Rita McWilliams.
Chris is survived by his children, Jessica Cole, Jennifer Adams, and James Adams; sister, Amy Brace; and his trusted friend, Wendy Lowe.
No service is planned at this time.
Memorials may be made in Chris’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
