Carolyn Dubois Obituary
A memorial service celebrating the life of Carolyn Masters Dubois, age 79, will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana.
Carolyn was born November 21, 1945 in Many, Louisiana to Walter James Masters and Alice Eason Masters and passed away on July 9, 2025. She loved painting, gardening, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carolyn's warmth, creativity, and love for family will be deeply missed.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alice Masters; husband, Richard Dubois; son, Michael Vance; sister, Marilyn Heath; and brother, Kevin Masters. Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Darrell Vance (wife, Kayla), Steve Vance (wife, Robbie); grandchildren, Corey Vance (wife, Jessica), Joseph Vance (wife, Callie), Chloe Vance Towery (husband, Garrett), Justin Vance, and Kalynn Vance; brothers, Charles Masters (wife, Jerry Ann), Keith Masters (wife, Diane); sisters, Clydie Parker (husband, Danny), Ginger Slocum; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at LifePath Hospice, especially Allison and Eileen. You were a blessing to us in our time of need.
