Carolyn was the proud owner and operator of Ms. Carolyn's Daycare, where she dedicated the last 17 years of her life to nurturing and caring for children. Above all, Carolyn loved her family deeply. She cherished every moment spent with them and found joy in traveling and vacationing. She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha Giles and Wilson Golden.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhaconda Robinson, Damira Washington, and Briyana Kemp; four sisters; four brothers; grandchildren, R'riyahn Shepherd, Oviyahn Robinson, Zyaire and Giovanni Grant, Ja'Mir Kinsey, and Cayoir and Remi Walker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 7th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 3143 Midland Ave, Syracuse, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
