Mrs. Carolyn Lewis Harvel

Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Lewis Harvel, age 79, of Bethlehem, GA died Friday, August 8, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Harvel was born in Cambridge, MD to the late Norris Owen and Eastland Moore Lewis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harvel was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dowe Harvel. Mrs. Harvel is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Harvel Vandiver (Billy) of Commerce; sons, Nathan Patrick Dowe Harvel (Tina) of Bethlehem and Kelly Joseph Shane Harvel (Heidi Dawson) of Brooksville, FL; sisters, Dorothy Shortall, Sharon Prahl and Doris Carol Meekins; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, August 11 graveside at Grey Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Newsome officiating. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
