Carolyn Hinshaw Obituary
Carolyn Thomas Hinshaw, 75, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at ARMC. She was the daughter of the late James Lacy Thomas, Jr. and Hazel Wright Thomas and wife of the late Mike Hinshaw who died in 2022.
Carolyn was employed with the Graham Police Department for several years, worked in the Alamance County Jail and with the UNC Hospital Police. She and her husband were the owners of Handgunners Shooting Range. Bur her best job was being married to the love of her love of her life, Mike for 41 years. Carolyn’s hobbies include, crocheting, listening to classic rock music and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Robin Brown of Burlington; step son, Eric Hinshaw and wife Kendra of Burlington; step granddaughters, Audrey, Mia and Adley Hinshaw; nephews, James Vinson of St. John’s, Florida, Will Brown of Reidsville and a niece, Kacey Brown; numerous great nieces and nephews/
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeffery Wright.
