Carolyn Mae Houston, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on Thursday, September 9th, 1971, in Blakely, Georgia, Carolyn most of her entire life in the community she loved.
Carolyn was a dedicated cashier at Dollar Tree, where she greeted everyone with a warm smile and a kind word. Her friendly demeanor and unwavering work ethic left a lasting impression on both her colleagues and customers.
She is survived by her loving father, Jimmy Houston, and her cherished children, Justin Lott (Andrea) and Dennis Dale Green. Carolyn was a proud grandmother to Paris Alford Lott, Zoe Lott, and Eli Lott, who brought immense joy to her life.
Carolyn is also survived by her siblings, Loretta White, Edward Bishop (Brandi), Ray Houston (Alicia), Mac Houston (Debbie), and Debbie Houston. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Loretta Zuelke Houston, and her brother, James Houston.
Though no services are planned at this time, Carolyn's family and friends will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Carolyn's family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
