Carolyn Insall Obituary

Carolyn Insall
12/11/1946 - 11/01/2025
Carolyn Sue Insall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of the Lord, was called home by her Savior on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

Visitation will be at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, Texas on Thursday, November 6th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral Service will be at Dossman Funeral Home on Friday November 7th at 1:00 PM with interment following at North Belton Cemetery Pavilion

She was born on December 11, 1946, in Ranger, Texas, to George Dalton Millican and Gladys Adams Millican.

On March 1, 1991, Carolyn married the love of her life, Arnold "Pee Wee" Insall, in Belton, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and faith.

Carolyn earned her Master of Science degree from Tarleton State University in 1994 and went on to dedicate 25 years of her career to Scott & White Hospital, where her compassion and professionalism touched many lives.

Carolyn joyfully shared the love of Jesus teaching children's Sunday School for 20 years. She was instrumental in establishing the Body of Christ Community Clinic, a ministry close to her heart. Her service extended to volunteering with Texans on Mission, Campers on Mission, Crosswaters Outfitters, Hope for the Hungry, and many others ministries.

After retiring from Scott & White, Carolyn enjoyed spending time as part of the Wildflower Quilt Guild, and fishing with Pee Wee-simple pleasures that reflected her creativity and love of God's creation. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Belton, Texas where she worshiped faithfully and built lasting friendships.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold "Pee Wee" Insall of Belton, Texas; her children, William David Houghton and wife Michele of Franklin, Tennessee, and Susan Denise Coffey and husband Billy Coffey of Temple, Texas; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Sarah Houghton of Franklin, Tennessee, and Ricky Gill and wife Bethany of Temple, Texas. She was also great-grandmother "Gigi" to Colt and Elijah Gill. She is also survived by her brothers, Homer Dalton Millican and wife Linda of Odessa, Texas, and Larry Milburn Millican and wife Tracy of Georgetown, Texas, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carolyn will be remembered for her servant's heart, steadfast faith, and the warmth she shared with everyone who crossed her path.
