Carolyn Jodway

Carolyn Jodway, 59, of Livonia, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Carolyn was born on April 15, 1965, to Eugene and Rosemary (Turowski) Wienczak.
Carolyn attended Catholic schools throughout her life, graduating from Bishop Borgess High School. On April 12, 1997, she married Michael Jodway, and together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A creative spirit, Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and other crafts, finding joy in making things with her hands. She had a lifelong passion for horses and cherished time spent with them. As a young girl, she was an active member of the Girl Scouts and carried the values of service and community with her throughout her life.
Carolyn had a special love for holidays, especially when surrounded by her family. Her warm heart, kindness, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carolyn is the beloved wife of 27 years to Michael Jodway; loving mother of Benjamin Michael Jodway; dear sister of Ronald (Crystal) Wienczak, Paul (Debbie) Wienczak, David (Wilma) Wienczak, Roseanne (the late Bill) Jodway, Kathy (the late Michael) Hutsko, Linda (Mark) Alverson, the late Nancy Best and Michael Wienczak; cherished daughter-in-law of Angela (the late Ron) Helt; treasured sister-in-law of Bill (Shelia) Jodway and Susan (Michael) Haisenleder; aunt to numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Carolyn's family will receive guests on Thursday, January 16, 2025, beginning at 4:30 pm, until the beginning of the 6 pm memorial service, at the funeral home.
