Carolyn Kwasniewski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by J. J. Duffy Funeral Home on May 21, 2025.
Carolyn V. Kwasniewski, 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Kwasniewski.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes (Conlon) Best. Carolyn resided in Cumberland for the past 56 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
Carolyn will be fondly remembered for her love of family and the simple joys of life. Whether crafting ceramics, painting, gardening, or planting flowers, she found happiness in creativity and nature. Her and her late husband cherished camping trips in Maine, where they embraced the outdoors and made lasting memories with loved ones. Their warmth and kindness shone through in everything they did, and their legacy lives on in the beauty they cultivated, and the moments shared with family.
She dedicated much of her career to working as a CNA, finding joy in caring for others. She had a kind heart and a comforting presence, always taking the time to support her patients and brighten their day. Whether through gentle care or a shared conversation over a cup of coffee, she made a difference in the lives of those she served.
She is survived by her loving children, Donna Desmarais and her husband, Anthony of Harrisville, and David Kwasniewski of Cumberland, her beloved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved dog Pepper.
She was the mother of the late Daniel Kwasniewski.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Carolyn's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 10AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Prayer Service will be held at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the SPCA-RI, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
