Carolyn Lewis Obituary
Claxton,
Ms. Carolyn Lewis, age 74, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Tattnall Healthcare in Reidsville. She was born in Claxton on May 30, 1949 to Ashton Leonard and Mae Elizabeth Sapp Lewis and had lived in Evans County most of her life. Mrs. Carolyn loved to go to yard sales, fishing and mostly spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; her son, James Patrick Lewis and her brother, James W. Bruner, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Andy (Christine) Jenkins of Collins and Regina (Frank) Johnson of North Carolina; sister, Kizzie E. “Betty” Wood of Reidsville; grandchildren, Ashton (Shawn) Lewis, Scott Lewis, Tyler (Mia) Jenkins, Allison Schielie, Chandler Jenkins, Aaron (Jada) Schielie, Chance (Angel) Lewis, Jayda Jenkins, and Rinley Jenkins; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00am Monday, December 4, 2023 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
