Carolyn Louise Lipscomb, 78, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 30, 1946, to Louis E. and Margaret Stein (nee Waechter).
Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind her cherished husband, William Lipscomb. She is survived by her loving children Lisa Combs, William Lipscomb, Chris Beaver, Anna Lipscomb, Carrie Courtney, and James Lipscomb, along with her dear brother Kenneth Stein. Carolyn's legacy continues through her grandchildren—Kayla, Faith, Ethan, Summer, Skye, Dylan, Thomas, Charlie, Libby, Anna, Michael, Sam, Tony, Talon, Carissa and Theresa—as well as her great-grandchildren—Cherokee, Raven, Ellie, Charlotte, Kashdyn and Renlee. Each of them will carry forward the warmth of her spirit.
Though Carolyn faced the sorrow of losing her father, mother, sons Thomas and Kevin, sister Mary Bosse, and brother John Stein, she remained a beacon of love and strength for her family. She held her closest loved ones dear and took tremendous joy in spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In her leisure moments, Carolyn found happiness in crafting and camping, and it was in these activities that her creativity and love for nature blossomed. She had a unique ability to bring people together, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.
In loving memory of Carolyn, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association - Cincinnati, located at 644 Linn Street, Suite 304, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. A funeral ceremony to honor her life will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 8, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Burial will be held following service's at Burlington Cemetery 2175 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY,
