Eugene Lipscomb

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2026, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home for Eugene Lipscomb, age 92 of Hokes Bluff, who passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 9, 2026. Rev. Mark Gidley, Rev. Tim Smith, and Rev. Mark Willingham will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Union #3 Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Lipscomb was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Lipscomb, brothers, James Mac, Leslie, Fred, Otis, Whit, Ray, sisters, Ophelia Hardy and Opal Hooper.

Left to cherish the memory of Eugene are his daughters, Wanda Murray, Earlene Burke (Danny), and Tina Lipscomb, son, Randy Lipscomb (Connie), 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lipscomb was a member of the Congregational Holiness Church.

Pallbearers will be Robert Murray, Eric Murray, Brian Burke, Jessy Lipscomb, Jimmy Lipscomb, Hayden Lipscomb, and Chris Franklin.
