Mrs. Carolyn Cherie Bryant-McManus of Murfreesboro, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Carol was born on June 26, 1941 in Trenton, MI. She was the daughter of Wallace and Ruth (Hunter) Levack. She married Marvin Bryant in June 1959 and they were married for 55 years until his death in 2015. In 2019 she married William McManus and they were married until his death in February 2025.

Carol was very much a wife and homemaker. She loved her family dearly and was excited to spend time with them. She also enjoyed traveling with friends and exploring new places.

Carol attended Beacon Baptist Church in Taylor, MI for many years and then attended Faith Baptist Church in Sparta, TN upon retirement. She loved serving in the church where she taught children's church, sang in the choir and organized many church events. She worked as an office manager at

Baptist Park School in Taylor, MI for over 30 years, making a difference in the lives of many students.

She leaves behind siblings James (Carolyn) Levack, John (Carol) Levack, Darlene Borton and her children Keith (Carole Jean) Bryant and Tammie (Michael) Pasant; grand children Jennifer Bryant, Jessica Bryant, Ashley Overby and Austin (Kira) O'Dell; great grandchildren Luke and Liam Overby, Carsyn O'Dell, Jackson O'Dell, and Kinsley O'Dell.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and a brother, Harry Levack.

Special appreciation is expressed to the staff at Park View Senior Living facility who lovingly and exceptionally cared for her this past year.

There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, November 29 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 1786 Smithville Hwy, Sparta, TN from 10-11 am with service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Veranda Ministries (Home - Veranda Ministries), a respite program for caregivers of loved ones with dementia and Alzheimer's.
