Carolyn Abbott Nash

Carolyn A. (Rolf) Nash, daughter of the late Walter and Barbara Rolf, formerly of Baldwinville, MA, passed on October 17, 2025, at her home in Keene, NH.

She was born in Fitchburg, MA, and grew up in Baldwinville, MA, and graduated from Narragansett Regional High School in Templeton, MA, with High Honors, and Mt. Wachusett Community College, where she took several courses in clerical work. She graduated from Henri's School of Hair Design, Fitchburg, MA, with a diploma and degree in hair design. She leaves four children, a daughter, Lisa Musgrove, and her husband, Paul, three sons, David and his wife Veronica Derby, Ronald Collette, Jr, and Jonathan Collette, four grandchildren, Thaddeus Derby, Bella Derby, Ashlyn Musgrove, and Ethan Musgrove.

She also leaves Ronnie Nash, with whom she spent many years together, both in Massachusetts and North Carolina. They enjoyed NASCAR races, and Myrtie Beach and York Beach, as well. She will be missed by her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends. Since she was an only child, her pets were her family as well, with several special ones. Carolyn lived in Massachusetts and North Carolina, and said she had two homes. She worked in hairdressing, banking, she then worked in the management of restaurants. Her last job was being a Girl Friday to her boyfriend's Framing Business.

She was a member of the American Legion Winchendon Post Ladies auxiliary, also the ASPCA and Humane Society. She worked on many benefits and helped out in local no-kill shelters.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the Arthritis Foundation at arthritis.org, or the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org, in memory of Carolyn's mom and dad.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 6:00 pm, with the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary service followed by Fr. Fran Roberge.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 - 6:00 pm in the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
