Carolyn Sue Peevey-Clark, 69, resident of Mangum, Oklahoma, passed away on January 25, 2023, at her home in Mangum. Sue was born on June 17, 1953, to Dale and Nancy Jane (McMinimy) Peevey. Sue graduated high school in Chino, California. After graduating, Sue went on to pursue a degree from Pomona College. While living in California, she worked at Dicks Western Wear and Pomona First Federal. She moved to Oklahoma in 2000 and Sue married Perry Clark on November 20, 2002, in Vernon, Texas. Sue worked for Hamburger Inn in Mangum, The Department of Corrections, Head Start and then became employed with Altus Public Schools as a Paraprofessional until her retirement in 2021. Sue was a proud member of the Church of Christ in Mangum, she also enjoyed horseback riding, going to the farm, and feeding the cows and spoiling her dogs.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to honor her memory is her husband, Perry Clark; Daughter, Tiana Manderson and husband Mark; Sisters, Peggy Long and husband David, and Jane Macbeth and husband, Bob; Grandchildren, Blakely and Malakai Manderson; As well as numerous extended family members and friends.
