Carolyn Lee Schweinbold, born on July 27, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, peacefully left this world on December 11, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. Known for her selfless, caring, and loving nature, Carolyn’s legacy will forever be enshrined in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
A proud alumna of Lindenwood University, Carolyn obtained both her undergraduate and Master’s degrees, which reflected her dedication and thirst for knowledge. However, the roles she cherished most were not defined by her academic achievements but by her identity as a nurturing wife, devoted mother, and adoring grandmother.
Her love for her family illuminated her life in countless ways. She found immense joy in watching her grandchildren grow, sincerely taking pleasure in witnessing the remarkable individuals they became. Each grandchild—Braeden, Noah, Liam, Ella, Ava, Evan, Emma, and Ethan—held a special place in her heart, and her pride in them was palpable. Carolyn’s selflessness extended beyond her family; she embodied a spirit of kindness that touched everyone she encountered.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Mike Schweinbold; her sons, Todd and Scott Schweinbold; her daughter, Nikki Brinkman; and her dear brother, Bo Grimm, as well as her sister, Susan Hadley. Each of these relationships brought her boundless happiness and fulfillment, serving as a testament to her nurturing spirit.
She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, John Kenneth Grimm and Estelle Grimm, who undoubtedly shaped the compassionate woman she became. Their influence lived on in her, blossoming into the warmth and care she offered to her family and friends throughout her life.
Carolyn's passing leaves a profound void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Her unwavering love and the light she brought into the lives of so many will not be forgotten. It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Carolyn Lee Schweinbold, a beautiful soul whose legacy of love will continue to inspire.
