He is survived by is wife Joyce Sherlock, his 3 children Jill & Rick Watson, Samuel B. Sherlock III, and Steven B. Sherlock, 2 granddaughters Ellyanna and Amya, and a family friend Joe Duggins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel B. Sherlock and Ruth Snead Sherlock, and 2 brothers Ronald Sherlock ad Richard Sherlock.
Sam was a veteran serving in the US Marine Corps. He graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelors Degree and received his Masters Degree from Lindenwood College.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Louisiana, MO where he served as treasurer for many years, financial secretary, and youth group leader. He was employed by Hercules, Inc. as controller and retired from Johnson Controls.
His favorite past time was playing golf with his sons, gardening, and updating the family home.
