Visitation for Carolyn Smith will take place on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, also located at 512 N. Ridgeway, Cleburne, TX 76033. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

Carolyn Smith, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas, at the age of 78. She was born on January 12, 1947, in Rio Vista, Texas, and was a proud graduate of Rio Vista High School. Carolyn furthered her education at the University of Texas Arlington, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Her dedication and expertise led her to a successful career with Walls Industries starting out as an Accounting Clerk, then Accounting Manager and being promoted to Vice President of Finance, a role from which she retired from.

Carolyn was a person of profound kindness and warmth, cherished by her family and community. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Smith; her son, Anthony Holland, and his wife Tara; and her daughter, Kristen Gregory, and her husband Jeremy, her grandchildren, Courtnay Holland, Mary Holland, Dayton Holland, Morgan Gregory and Lexi Gregory. Her legacy also includes her great-grandchildren, Hudson Holland and Ava Holland, her sisters, Betty Ashlock and her husband Dub, and Nora Gray, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell Tuley and Irene Walker Tuley; her brothers, Billy, Jimmy, and Johnny Tuley; and her sisters, Frances Creamer, Ada Ruth Crecelius, and Glenda Johnson. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew Carolyn.

Carolyn Smith's warm spirit and loving nature will be profoundly missed, but her memory will continue to inspire all those blessed to have known her.
