Carolyn Swint, 66, of Baytown was born June 1, 1944 in Jacksonville, TX and passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her home. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Fannie Carpenter; brothers, Carl Stover and Fred Stover; and sister, Mary Hart. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert E. Swint of Baytown; son, Lance Swint of Baytown; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Chris Bowers of Mont Belvieu and Melody and Canaan Hobbs of Baytown; brothers and sister-in-law, Walter Carpenter of Cushing and Edgar Wayne and Jean Stover of Titusville, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Tom Jancula of Baytown and Linda and Jeff Buuck of Cushing; and grandchildren, Braden and Tiffani Dando, Christopher and John Morgan Bowers, and Ashlyn and Canaan Hobbs. There will be a memorial service Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Proctor and Chaplain Mark Robinson officiating. At her request, she will be cremated. In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the St. Mark's United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3811 N. Main, Baytown, TX 77521.
