Carolyn Whitman Obituary
A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, Flint Campus. Carolyn built a successful career as the Human Resources Director at General Motors, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring. Following her retirement, she and her husband of over 40 years embraced a new chapter of life, relocating to Orange Beach, Alabama.
Carolyn was an avid golfer, running numerous women's club invitationals at Glen Lakes Golf Course, Alabama. Her Sundays were joyfully spent attending Cedar Creek Church alongside her daughter-in-law, Teri-a time she cherished deeply.
She also had a special place in her heart for her King Charles Cavalier Spaniel dogs, whose companionship brought her great comfort and joy.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Peter Whitman, children Ronald (Teri) Loeffler of Waterville, Ohio, Donald Loeffler of Traverse City, Michigan, Lisa Kentish of Tampa, Florida, stepchildren Lindsey Kinkead, Miles Carrol, brother Charles (Joyce) Harris of Davison, Michigan, Grace (Ron) Ranger of Michigan, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Dottie Peterson.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home Waterville, Ohio 7220 Dutch Rd. 43566.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lucas County Humane Society.
