Carrie Olive Garrant, 82, of West Chazy, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the UVHN:CVPH Medical Center. She was born December 9, 1942 , the daughter of Leonard & Lucy (Pilon) Dupee.
She was such a loving & caring Wife/Mother/Mother-In-Law/Grandma & Great-Grandma. She was also a phenomenal seamstress & cake decorator who also loved bowling, square dancing as well as being a member of the West Chazy Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary for many years. Her biggest enjoyment was getting out to ride their “trike” with all their friends.
She is survived by her forever loving husband of 64 ½ years, Frederick J. Garrant; her daughters, Dawn (Mike) Reyell, Wendy (David McComsey) Seymour and son, Allen (Victoria ) Garrant, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents Leonard & Lucy (Pilon) Dupee; Sister, Eva Seymour; Brother, Godfrey Dupee; In-Laws, James Garrant, Marie (Guynup) Garrant, Mae (Mousseau) Garrant, Roger Garrant, Emmerson Garrant, Marie Garrant.
A “last ride: Trike/Bike/Auto” will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM starting at the St. Joseph’s Church Hall. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Chazy followed by a Life Celebration at the St. Joseph’s Church Hall in West Chazy, NY.
Donations can be made in her memory to the West Chazy Volunteer Fire Department, 7656 State Route 22, West Chazy, NY 12992
