Carroll Kent Ashe, 61, of sylva passed away on November 26, 2024.
Kent is preceded in death by his father Elmer Ashe and brother Darryle Ashe.
Kent leaves behind his two children Krystle and Justin Ashe, his mother Betty Brown Ashe, three brothers Terry, Keith and Brian Ashe, one sister Teresa Buchanan, and two grandchildren Ethan and Owen also survive.
The family would like to express their upmost gratitude to their extended family, Jeff and Luke Stillwell.
Kent loved spending time outdoors and he adored spending time with his grandchildren. Kent will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held for Kent at 2:00pm on Saturday November 30, 2024, in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Service with the Reverend Keith Ashe and Reverend Eddie Stillwell officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday November 29, 2024, at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Kent’s honor to his grandchildren, Ethan and Owen to help prepare for their future.
