Carroll Wayne Baker, 78, of Searcy, passed away, Thursday, March 12, 2026 at home. He was born June 13, 1947 in Searcy to the late Herman Eugene Baker and Mildred (Smith) Baker.
Carroll was a member of the local Elks Lodge #2247. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing karaoke, and he especially loved listening to Johnny Cash. A machinist by trade, Carroll worked at a foundry for many years. He was a lot of fun to be around and could often be found playing his guitar or watching an old western. Carroll deeply valued his family, and they were always the most important part of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Marilyn Sue (Harper) Baker; children, Ronnie Baker and wife Leslie, Ricky Baker and wife Jessica, Tim Baker, Teddy Baker, Kevin Hale and wife Donnelle, Shawn Baker and wife Heather, Cheri Troop and Frankie Fuller; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and his brother, Dean Baker.
Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, a grandson, Kyle Baker, and a son, Justin Baker.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2026 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Taylor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
