Carroll Lee Eubanks, 88, of Sesser, passed away on February 2, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt Vernon, IL. She was born on March 27, 1937 in Christopher to Clyde and Altha (Darrough) Muir. She married Russell Eubanks on July 30, 1955, they were married for 55 years until his passing on July 30, 2010. She is survived by her children Greg Eubanks and Jill (Brent) Crnokrak; sisters Jan McLeod and Norma Walters; grandchildren Whitney (Kevin) Hoffer and Nick (Chelsey) Crnokrak; great grandchildren Sawyer Hoffer, Reid Hoffer, Camden Crnokrak and Lynley Crnokrak, brothers and sisters-in-laws Garry Eubanks, Sharon Carnahan, Sandy Willis, Bruce (Connie) Eubanks, Brad Eubanks, Pam Eubanks, Doug (Becky) Eubanks and Shelley (John) Hardin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell Eubanks, one sister Sandra Brown, brothers-in-law Danny Brown, Tom McLeod, Oscar Walters, Virlie Willis and Jim Carnahan, sister-in-law Barbara Eubanks, nephew Mark Eubanks and one niece Wendy Brown. She was a member of the Sesser First Baptist Church, she worked at the Franklin County Supervisor of Assessments office for many years. She also enjoyed teaching line dancing and she loved to travel and spend time with her family. Funeral services will be on Monday February 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sesser First Baptist Church with Brother Chris Hottensen officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.
