Carson Barley Obituary
Carson had a kind heart. He loved animals and often tried to make babies smile. He took an interest in cooking and baking and loved sharing his creations with those around him. He was an avid video gamer and a fan of anime. Carson had a passion for music, especially hip-hop and rock, and his favorite band was the Gorillaz. He really enjoyed fishing for bass and crappie. Carson had been a part of the Carthage Archery program for the past five years and competed in two state tournaments.
Carson is survived by his parents, Brad and Rachel Barley; his sister, Adelynn Barley; his grandparents, Cindy Chidester and Dennis and Cheryl Barley; along with many close family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, Joe Chidester.
A funeral service for Carson will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage, Missouri. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Carson will be laid to rest at Nashville Cemetery in Nashville, MO.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Children's Haven in Joplin, Missouri, in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.

my heart is breaking this sweet dear boy. I remember him and his sister Adalyn the weekend that I went down with Katrina and stayed with his great grandmother Lena. He was just a boy then, but he was happy and very active.To his family I pray that you find comfort from each other and in time that the memories won´t be always painful.
