Cary Arlo Bare was born on February 13, 1953, in Canyonville, Douglas County, Oregon, to Glenn Darrel and June Louise (Werner) Bare. He has spent the past 23 years with his significant other, Joyce Anita (Gelsinger) Frailey.

Bare was a distinguished U.S. Army veteran with a dedicated military career. He first enlisted in 1971, serving nearly three years, then rejoined in 1977, retiring as a Sergeant in 1994. His commitment to service was lifelong. Following his military retirement, he worked as a semi-truck driver for various companies, with Marvin Keller Trucking, Inc. being his last employer.

As a former drill sergeant, Bare instilled discipline in his grandchildren through exercises and drills. In his leisure time, he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing. His military background and personal interests shaped his disciplined yet active lifestyle, reflecting his dedication and diverse pursuits.

Bare is survived by his significant other, Joyce Frailey of Kinmundy; her children, Logan Frailey Jr. with Tierney Isbill of Shobonier, Anthony Frailey and wife Kathy of Georgia, and Heather Frailey with Jeff Fogler of Shobonier; grandchildren, Addysin, Zoey, Annabelle, Jaqualine, Rylee, Serenity, Andrew, Gemma, Tyler, Tymber, Kirsten, Shelby, Dylan, Ashton, Hailey, and Olivia; many great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
