Casey Lee Disbrow, 46, of Devola, OH passed away unexpectedly on July 31st, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 13th, 1979 in Santa Cruz, CA at Dominican Hospital, The beloved son of Cindee and Chuck Stepping of Coos Bay, OR. Casey was a 2011 graduate of Washington State Community College. He worked at Marietta Memorial Hospital for the past 5 years.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Amy Lynn Disbrow (Douglas) whom he married on August 27th, 2003; Daughters Skylar Lynn Disbrow (Sylar Hurst) and Savannah Lee Disbrow; Grandson Sutton Hurst; Father-In-Law Gary Douglas; Brother-In-Law Jason Douglas.
He is survived by his stepsisters Becky (Scott) DeVillires and their children, and Kimberly Stepping of Santa Cruz, CA; stepbrother Frank (Shanda) Stepping and their children; uncles Walter (Penny) Disbrow, their children, and their grandchildren, and Mark (Kathy) Scofield, their children and grandchildren.
He is also survived by Kashmira White (Colton Plaugher) whom he considered his bonus daughter.
He was preceded in death by his brother Christopher George Del Carlo; grandparents Virginia Lee Disbrow and George B. Disbrow; mother-in-law Kathy Douglas; stepsisters Michelle and Samantha Stepping; best friend Rudy Peterson.
Casey was a funny, kind, and caring soul who was loved and will be missed by many people. He will also be missed by friends who became family such as Brandi Gorton, Bridget (Joe) Roy, Lindsay (Pace) McIntire and their daughters Lilly and Remi, Cassidy Miller and her family, And Michael (Ashley) Slack and their children.
In keeping with Casey’s giving nature, he will touch more lives through Lifeline of Ohio
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 8th at 5 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta, OH 45750 with Mike Hinton officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist the family with costs at www.robertsfuneralhome.com
