Cassandra Casares

Cassandra Casares, age 33, of Holland, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Having been born in Fort Worth, Cassie was a lover of "all things Texas" her whole life and will forever be a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Cassie exuded happiness and fun; she enjoyed talking to others and telling stories, enjoyed eating, and embraced life by making the most of every moment. Most of all, Cassie loved her family, and cherished being a mother to her two children.
Cassie was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Juanita Gonzalez, and Guadalupe Garza.
She is survived by her husband, John Garcia; children: Ava Ali Rios, Josiah Daniel Garcia; mother, Laura (Joel) Zuidema; father, George (Janie) Casares; sister, Ashley (Jake) Sleiman; nieces: Delilah, Laurayna, Idilia, Adalina, Ariella, Briella; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland.
