He was born on August 05, 1963, in Gonzales, Texas to his parents Theresa Arriola Casares and Hilario Casares. David was born and raised in Gonzales; he graduated from Gonzales High School - Class of 1981. He became a father at an early age, he had two beautiful daughters and two handsome sons.
David had an exceptional work history, he worked at Rufus King Service Station, City of Shiner, Dollinger Steel and he eventually ventured into his dream of working for the railroad. While at Dollinger Steel, David learned and mastered the art of welding, he became a great asset to his company and also enjoyed making barbeque pits for people. His career flourished with each job opportunity, and he gained lots of experience and was able to grow in his work field. David loved his job, and he was able to be a great provider for his family.
On his down time, David enjoyed fishing, kayaking, riding his motorcycle with his Bastrop gang, traveling and catching a Minnesota Vikings football game. He was a great host; Christmas, Easter and many nights of watching football games were held at his house, something was always cooking at David's house. He never took a good weather day for granted, you could always catch him on the road riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed classic cars and music. David was a wonderful father to his children and grandfather to his grandchildren, and a great friend to many. His time on this earth was short, but he leaves behind a lifetime of good memories behind.
