A daughter of the late William P. and Martha J. Burwell Lescalett, she was born August 26, 1953 in Steubenville, Ohio.
For 36 years Cookie was a supervisor in the Map Office at the Carroll County Courthouse. She was a member of Herrington-Bethel Church near Augusta.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Garry; two children, Wendy (Rick) Stevens of Salineville and Kevin (Courtney) Witts of Carrollton; eight grandchildren; a great grandchild and one on the way; and a brother, Keith Lescalett.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Martin, and a sister, Darla Berry.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. Burial will follow in Augusta Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663
