Michael Jeffery Bake

Michael Jeffery Bake, 65, of Carrollton, Ohio, passed away at his home February 5, 2026.

Mike was a dedicated union welder pipefitter for 30 years who took great pride in his work and craftsmanship. He was equally devoted to maintaining his home, where he cultivated a pumpkin patch every year that brought joy to his family and community. A lifelong Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Mike never missed a chance to cheer on his teams. The biggest lover of German shorthair Pointers.

Mike was a regular at his local Eagles club, where he enjoyed the company of good friends and conversation. His presence, humor, and companionship will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his brother John, sister Jean, and his parents, Eleanor and John Bake.

Michael is survived by his sons, Travis and Dallas; his daughter, Dusty; his ex-wife Maria; his daughters-in-law Payton and Sawyer; his granddaughters, Raiyah and Juni; his brothers Bob and Bill; his most loyal companion John; and many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of life will be held at the eagles in Carrollton Ohio, Wednesday February 11th from 3-5pm.
