Cassie Ann Price

Cassie Ann Price, born on April 25, 1970, in Cedarville, California, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Tolleson, Arizona. She was a dedicated educator who devoted her life to teaching until her retirement from Liberty High School in Liberty, Missouri. Cassie was deeply committed to her students and imparted knowledge with energy and love.

Cassie’s educational journey included her earning a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University and a master’s degree from Kansas State University, a testament to her dedication to lifelong learning and a reflection of her commitment to her profession. In her post-teaching life, Cassie ran a successful vintage resale business with a customer base that included private buyers and costumers for multiple television, film and stage productions.

In her personal life, Cassie is survived by her beloved husband Eric Burtis and step-children Madison and Cassie Burtis, who were a source of support and joy in her life. She is also survived by her brother Aurens Price, sister Kari Woods and Kari’s children, Kathryn and Brian Woods. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous family members in Oregon and Utah, all of whom will remember her fondly.

Memorial services will be held at Vineyard Church North Phoenix, located at 6250 W Peoria Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302. Visitation will take place on September 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Cassie is predeceased by her parents, James and Joanne (Rice) Price; her brother, Clayton Price; and her niece, Madalyn Bryce. Their memories will remain a cherished part of her legacy as those who mourn her passing also celebrate the life she lived. Cassie Ann Price will be remembered for her kindness, her love for education, and her unwavering spirit.
