Cassie Marie Willis of Baytown, Texas, passed away on December 14, 2025. She will be remembered as a radiant light in the lives of everyone she knew, always leading with her heart on her sleeve.
From a young age, Cassie was a bright spot who brought sunshine wherever she went. It was fitting that "You Are My Sunshine" became the favorite song her mother would sing to her. An old soul at heart, Cassie possessed a maturity and kindness beyond her years, always striving to be responsible, helpful, and nurturing to everyone in her life.
Her appreciation for timeless beauty was evident in everything she loved. Cassie embraced a vintage aesthetic and was drawn to iconic figures like Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, finding inspiration in their enduring charm and style. She expressed her love through acts of service, particularly in the kitchen, where she delighted in baking and cooking for those she cared about. When she wasn't creating culinary treats, Cassie could often be found curled up with a good book.
Cassie had a gentle green thumb and loved tending to plants, with a special fondness for succulents and cacti. She was drawn to the energy of live music and had a particular affinity for Harry Styles, whose music resonated with her generous and authentic spirit. In her work at Chick-fil-A, Cassie embodied these same qualities, always offering support and encouragement to anyone she was training or working alongside. She treasured every opportunity to brighten someone's day, whether through a kind word, a warm smile, or her genuine care for others.
She is survived by her mother, Tracie Keene; her father, Kelly Willis; her sisters, Lorelai, Piper, and Maretta; her brother, Sebastian; her grandparents, Marie Melder, Henry Willis, and Van Strother; her aunts, Corie Davidson (husband Jason), Jessica Loftin (husband Thomas), Vanna Baker (husband Michael), and J.C. Willis; her best friend, Robyn; and many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Cassie's legacy of kindness, warmth, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply and forever missed.
