Catherine "Cathy" Ahearn

Catherine "Cathy", Ahearn, 80, of Secane, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with her devoted husband by her side.

Cathy was born in Dover, Delaware, to Clyde and Catherine Knight, on December 15, 1944. She graduated from Penn Crest High School with a focus on Business and went on to work in the Retail and Mall Management Industry, where she was greatly respected by her colleagues for her strong work ethic and dedication.

She could often be found reading the latest romantic drama novel, going to yard sales, working on a puzzle, or tending to her garden. Her family and friends meant the world to her, and she excelled as a Grammy to her dear grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by her beloved husband, Russell Ahearn, of Secane; her cherished children Renee Green, Jennifer Ragonese, Lindsey April, and son-in-law, Russell (Kathy), and her grandchildren Brianna, Raymond, Rachel, Robbie, Dobby, and Lucy. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, her darling son, Bobby, and treasured brothers Buddy and Johnny.

A memorial service will be held at Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074, on Monday, September 29, 2025, with a visitation hour from 10am-11am, followed by service at 11am. Interment will be private.

Cathy's legacy of love, strength, and laughter will be caried in our hearts forever, and she will be deeply missed.
