Catherine Jo (Napoli) Alexander, 65, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026 at Upstate Community Hospital in Syracuse, NY. For 5 years Cathy worked as an Administration Assistant for the Military Order of the Purple Heart. She also worked for National Grid where she retired from.

Cathy was a 1978 Graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School. She enjoyed making beautiful flower arrangements for craft shows and weddings. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved traveling to Florida every year and going to the Bingo Hall with her best friend Margaret. She will always be remembered for her kindness and her strength.

She was predeceased by her son, Jay Alexander, parents, Philip and Shirley Napoli, and a sister, Sandra Rose.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Alexander-Miller of Punta Gorda, FL; son, Sylvester William Alexander IV of Hannibal, NY; brother, Andrew Napoli of Bridgeport, NY; grandchildren, Elizabeth Miller, Josalynn Miller, Olivia Miller, Sylvester Alexander V, Makenna Alexander, Riley Alexander, and Lily Alexander.

Per Cathy's request there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cathy may be made to; American Liver Foundation, P.O. Box 299, West Orange, New Jersey, 07052.
