PARK HILLS - Catherine Colleen Beatte, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on February 2, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 69. She was born on May 15, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Harry Hahl Sr. and Norma Jean (Bayless) Hahl, who preceded her in death.
Catherine's love for her family was profound. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Charlie Beatte. She is also survived by her children, Terry (Wendy) Walker and Bambi (Sean) Peters, who carry on her legacy, along with her grandchildren, Abigail, Keeley, Logan, and Bobbi Jo, and her great grandson, Tucker. Catherine is also survived by her sister, her two brothers, and several nieces and nephews, with a special bond to her niece, Tonya Hull. Throughout her life, Catherine devoted herself as a security aid at the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. Her commitment to her work and the wellbeing of others was a testament to her character and dedication.
Outside of her work life, Catherine was an avid enthusiast of outdoor activities. She found joy in horseback riding and training horses, often spending her time fishing, camping, and riding on tractors around the farm. She also enjoyed rides on the SxS and four-wheelers, embracing the adventures that these hobbies brought into her life.
Catherine will be remembered for her caring spirit, her love for the outdoors, and her deep commitment to her family. Per Catherine’s request, no formal services will be held. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
