Catherine Anne Canale

Catherine Canale, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27th, 2026, at her home in Spring, Texas.

Catherine was born on January 17, 1940 in Syracuse, NY, to Elizabeth and Howard Flynn, she was a 1957 graduate of Most Holy Rosary High School. Catherine married Michael Canale on January 22nd 1966, they moved to Baldwinsville, NY, in 1972 with their three children.

Following the death of her husband in 2016, Catherine moved to Spring, Texas to be near her son, Kevin, and his family. Catherine lived a long life, deeply devoted to her family and church. Her kind, sweet personality always brought warmth and love to her family and friends.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Michael Canale, her parents Howard and Elizabeth Flynn, her sister Mary Polge, her brothers Edward Flynn, and John Flynn.

Catherine is survived by her brother William (Joanne) Flynn, her son Kevin (Hsinyi) Canale, her daughter's Susan Mathers and Mary Erickson; her 5 grandsons, Alex Erickson, Daniel Mathers, Jonathan Mathers, Anthony Canale, and Charlie Canale.

Calling hours will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Falardeau Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12:00 noon at St. Mary's Church, 49 Syracuse Street, Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
