Catherine Cardarelli Obituary
Catherine Cardarelli was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 5, 1944, to William Benjamin Teague, Jr. and Gloria Jones Teague. She graduated from the LA Art School and received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia. Her career in photography was international with work in: Washington, D.C., San Francisco, California, Atlanta, Georgia, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Savannah, Georgia, and Stavanger, Norway. Her last working years, she taught photography at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). She retired to Wyoming, continuing to produce her Art. She passed peacefully November 8, 2025, at the Newcastle Hospital, Newcastle, Wyoming. She is survived by a brother, Benjamin; three nieces, Grace, Eulaliah, and Olivia; two grandnephews, Logan and Alexander; and a grandniece, Liberty. There will be a private service for immediate family.

Cathy was a longtime friend and I am saddened by her loss. She was a unique soul who always pushed for change and was never happy to stagnate. This world needs more people like her.

She was a long time family friend of ours. Whether in Atlanta, Nichols, GA, Savannah, or Wyoming, she was always my beloved Aunt Cathy. She will be greatly missed.
