Catherine Chapman Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Catherine B. Chapman, on December 15, 2025, at the age of 86.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Lester Chapman and a devoted mother to her children, Mark Chapman and his wife Ingrid, Susan Shinsky and her husband Joe, and Patti Rogers and her husband Bill. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Michael, Krista, Cassie, Brett, Ryan, and Matt, and as a great-grandmother to Sophie, Maddox, Cooper, and Jaxon. In addition to her immediate family, Catherine is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Sunday December 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road.
Catherine's compassion and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we gather to honor her life and legacy, we invite you to celebrate the beautiful memories we hold dear.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine's name may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital
