Catherine Ann "Cathy Or KitKat" Dier

Catherine "Cathy/KitKat" Dier, 69, of Owego, New York, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Cathy was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Nettie Carrigan; seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dier; three daughters, Holly and Branden Lateer, Rebecca Davis and Jason Pinney, Melissa Gouveia and Frankie Hubbert; five stepchildren, Kenneth, II, Bradley, Dusty, Michele, Jennifer; eleven grandchildren, Danny, Shelby, Gage, Lukas, Jada, Kali, Brennah, Keyondre, Kyra, Amirah, Jeremiah; six great grandchildren, Jaydin, Sofia, Aubrey, Jennah, Malcolm, Declan; nieces, nephews and extended family members. Cathy will be remembered as the matriarch of the family. She welcomed and treated everyone as if they were family with many of the kids friends calling her "Mom" & "Grandma". She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her passion for cats will always be remembered. The family will receive friends Monday, January 5, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY.
