Catherine Jean Fagley

Catherine Jean Fagley, 91, of Greenville, PA, passed away at 7:38 am on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at St. Paul's Senior Living Community in Greenville, PA.
Jean was born in Curllsville, PA on April 7, 1933 to the late Ray H. and Ruby E. (Shearer) Shook.
She was a 1951 graduate of Sligo High School. She was a homemaker until her children were older, then she worked for Dr. Roberts and Dr. Reimold, handling general office duties and coordinating patients.She enjoyed reading.
Bob & Jean were long time members of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ in Greenville, where she served as a Deacon and Elder, and sang in the choir.
Jean is survived by her loving husband at home, Robert R. Fagley. They were married on June 20, 1952. Also surviving are: three daughters, Barbara (and her husband, Kirk,) Johnston of Espyville, PA, Karen (and her husband, Kerry,) Hricsina of Cochranton, PA, Carol (and her husband, Merlyn,) Schelske of AK; two sons, R. Wayne (and his wife, Chrisy,) Fagley of TX, Keith (and his wife, Retta,) Fagley of Greenville, PA; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a great grandbaby, her sister Martha, and brothers Leon and James.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 10-11am at Zions Reformed United Church of Christ, 260 Main St., Greenville. A memorial service will follow at the church, with Rev. Steven L. Craft officiating.
