Catherine "Kathy" Louise (Williams) Forster was born September 5, 1956, in Rolla, Missouri. She was the daughter of Lewis and Louise (Crabtree) Williams. At the age of fourteen, Kathy met the love of her life, Arnold James Forster. They were united in marriage September 22, 1972, and to this union blessed with three children: Toby, Amy, and Chad. Kathy and James shared fifty-three years of marriage together, creating many lasting memories. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, and loving grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her working career started with the International Shoe Factory, Barards Lingerie, and Hagales Factory. She then started in the laundry department with Seville Care Center before moving to housekeeping. Her dedicated work ethic was evident to those around her. Kathy enjoyed eating out and catching bargains at yard sales every weekend with her daughter. Her family was most important to her, and she treasured being able to babysit her grandbabies. Her fur babies, Petey and later Rocky were her pride and joy. Kathy passed away August 15, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years. She is survived by her loving husband: James Forster of Salem, MO; children: Amy Pruitt and husband Danny of Bunker, MO and Chad Forster and wife Sherelle of Springfield, MO; sisters: Wanda Hussey of Rolla, MO and Rhonda Steelman and husband Rick of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Terry Marrill, Brianna Barton and husband Josh, Kassi Marrill and fiancé David Martin, Ethan Forster, Arianna Forster, Patience Forster, Giada Greene, Danny Pruitt Jr. and wife Christin, and Amber Thompson and husband Jeff; great-grandchildren: Oaklynn, Ayden, Hollan, Raelynn, Kynlee, Bridger, Ranger, and baby girl Pruitt on the way; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her son: Toby Forster; parents: Lewis and Louise (Crabtree) Williams; and brothers: Ralph, Gerald, and Marvin Williams; and sisters: Doris Pilkington and Brenda Shaw. Kathy was strong-willed and stubborn, a true spitfire. At the same time, she was thoughtful and generous. She will be forever missed by those who loved her most.
