Catherine Foster Obituary
Catherine Jean Foster, 72, of Endicott NY passed away peacefully at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal on August 4, 2025.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Ronald Bloomer and Jean (Mallet) Bloomer, by her sister Bonnie (Bloomer) Jenny and brother Kent Bloomer. She is survived by her partner Germain Torres and her son Brad (Gena) Foster. She was a beloved grandmother to Isabella Foster. She is also survived by her two brothers Larry (Dannelle) Bloomer and Doug (Angel) Bloomer, and several nieces and nephews.
Catherine was a graduate of Dansville High School in Dansville, NY (class of 1971). She then graduated from Broome Community College in the field of phlebotomy. She worked as a phlebotomist in multiple healthcare facilities in Broome county. Her entire life she was a devoted Christian and attended many churches in the area. She was a devoted mother and grandmother sharing her unconditional love to her entire family. She did everything she could to bring joy and happiness to everyone around her, with her infectious laugh and sense of humor. She loved gardening and playing games like Rummikub. She will be missed be missed by everyone that had the privilege to know her.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Friday, August 15 from 2-4 pm.
