Services for Catherine “Louise” Joiner will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown with Bro. Paul Raley officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Church Cemetery. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Joiner, 76, of Meridian, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence.
Louise attended both New Hope Baptist Church and Springhill Methodist Church. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed yard work, especially bailing hay with her husband. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher “Mark” Joiner and Eric Allen Joiner; and grandchildren, Jacob Kyle Joiner, Jessica Joiner, Lily Joiner, Kayla Ann Joiner, and Ethan Joiner.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Jesse “J.E.” Joiner; parents, Melvin Leonard and Catherine Eddie Geats Carter; and sisters, Dianne and Ruth Carter.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Webb and Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown.
