Catherine Joyce Lohr, age 68 of Fairless Hills, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at her home, with her family at her side. Born in Coatesville, PA, Catherine lived in Morrisville, PA for 9 years prior to moving to Fairless Hills 24 years ago.
Mrs. Lohr was a graduate of Bishop Conwell High School, Class of 1974. She had been employed as an auto claims supervisor with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company in West Trenton for over 40 years. Catherine was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church and served there as a Eucharistic Minister. An avid reader, she enjoyed socializing and going out to lunches and dinners. She was a huge fan of the Phillies and Eagles, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Daughter of the late William and Ann (Patchell) Hastry, she is survived by her loving husband Kevin Ray Lohr, two sons Jeff McKim and Wil I. Lohr, both of Fairless Hills, two sisters Mary (and Melissa) Hastry of Ohio and Betty Hastry of Levittown, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marty and Nancy Lohr, a nephew Clayton McGuire and a niece Elizabeth Lohr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Monsignor John Eckert, Pastor of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, will officiate.
Friends may call on July 18th from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel. Her interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Catherine’s name, may be made to Holy Trinity Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
