Catherine Ann Malacusky, 78, of
Port Saint Lucie, FL formerly of
Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 1, 1947, Catherine was the cherished daughter of Michael and Helen (Kanishock) Motil, who preceded her in death. From them, she learned the values of hard work, loyalty, compassion, and above all, love-virtues she carried with grace throughout her life.
Catherine lived a life beautifully defined by devotion-to her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and to all who were blessed to know her. She possessed a quiet strength, a deeply compassionate heart, and a warmth that made everyone feel welcome in her presence. Her legacy is one of enduring love, unwavering faithfulness, and the simple yet powerful acts of care that shape generations.
For 60 beautiful years, Catherine shared her life with her devoted husband, Anthony Malacusky. Their marriage stood as a testament to steadfast commitment, true partnership, and abiding love. Together they built a family that became the very center of Catherine's world. She was a loving and proud mother to Lori Willingham and Darrin (Gale) Malacusky. Her guidance was gentle yet firm, her support constant, and her pride in her children immeasurable. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Anthony M. Malacusky, whose memory she carried in her heart always, keeping his spirit alive in the stories she shared and the love she continued to give.
Catherine's joy only deepened with the arrival of her grandchildren-Tiffany Malacusky, Michael Willingham, Austin (Kristi) LeMaster, Kayla (CJ) Paulson, Anthony Malacusky, Chance (Jessica) Malacusky, and Dakota Malacusky. Each held a special place in her heart.
Becoming a great-grandmother brought her even greater happiness, as Easton, Allison, Edison, Luke and Luna filled her later years with laughter, wonder, and boundless pride.
She was a devoted and caring mother-in-law to Tammy Malacusky and to her late daughter-in-law, Tina Malacusky, both of whom she embraced as her own. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and her deepest joy.
At home, Catherine's love was most often expressed through her kitchen. She found great happiness in cooking for those she loved, preparing meals that became treasured family traditions. Around her table, stories were shared, laughter echoed, and bonds were strengthened. Those meals were more than nourishment-they were heartfelt expressions of her love.
Professionally, Catherine dedicated many years of service as a Sterile Processing Manager. She approached her work with integrity, precision, and a profound sense of responsibility. Her attention to detail helped ensure the safety and well-being of countless patients. Colleagues respected her strong work ethic and dependable nature, and she earned the quiet gratitude of many whose lives were touched by her behind-the-scenes dedication.
She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was-a steady presence, a gentle spirit, and a woman whose love formed the foundation of her family. Though her physical presence will be profoundly missed, the lessons she taught, the traditions she created, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed and deeply loved always. Her life was a blessing. Her memory a treasure.
