Paul Malacusky Obituary

Paul Malacusky, 59, of Mahanoy City and formerly of Ringtown, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022.

Born April 7, 1963, in Heistown, N.J., he was a son of the late John and Theresa (Rakus) Malacusky.

Paul worked for Alcoa for many years as a press operator. He loved to play the lottery.

Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his companion, Jane Lawson, and two brothers, Mark and Bruce Malacusky.

Surviving are three daughters, Desiree Hall with Jason, Frackville, Jennifer Whyne with William, Gordon, and Melissa Bakerofsky, Orwigsburg; three sisters, Elaine Mione, Las Vegas, Diane Bann, Mahanoy City, and Patty Culver, Texas; nine grandchildren, Zackery, Aiden, Destiny, Rylee, Scott, Case, Finnley, Autumn Rose and Billy; along with several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, at Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., 40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Scripture services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Fr. Dominic Pham. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Ringtown.
